Sustainable Practices

Rideau Roots is committed to sustainable gardening practices by prioritizing soil health and creating resilient gardens for our changing climate.  We opt to utilize organic inputs and fertilizers and mulching for weed reduction and water retention wherever possible.

At Rideau Roots we take the time to educate clients on the benefits of native planting  when possible and help identify problematic invasive species to promote healthy, biologically diverse gardens that support our local ecosystem.
